In 2023, as The Guild celebrates its 30th birthday, we have been offering our valued members more tips, tricks and training than ever before. From monthly in-depth and in-person Academy Days to weekly online Bitesize Sessions we have been celebrating and promoting some of The Guild tools and tactics to help our Members maximise their Membership. Every Wednesday at 10am Head Office staff from The Guild have been contributing 15 minutes of their mornings to provide priceless virtual training on an array of topics. With all of the sessions available to Guild Members to play-back on demand, we are looking back on some of our favourite sessions from this year.
In May Business Development Manager, Daniel Pepperell, invited Members to join him in a session covering the value of Life Magazine - our high-quality part-bespoke lifestyle publication, personalised in our Members agency branding. These magazines include lifestyle editorial content, which ranges from interior design to travel features, alongside eight pages of local properties. Dan states that whether you choose to hand-deliver your magazine, share it digitally, leave it behind on appointments or post it with a personalised letter, these magazines convey a high-quality professional service which can help you win an instruction. Print deadlines for these magazines also assist in creating urgency for bringing listings to market.
The Guild Compliance Officer, Paul Offley, is always a fan favourite. In his latest Bitesize Session in April, Paul looked at Parts B and C of Disclosure of Material Information and opened the floor to questions from Members in both lettings and sales to ensure all our Members were up to speed on the latest legislation. In the past he has hosted sessions on The Guild Associate Scheme and other relevant industry complaince topics that you wouldn't have wanted to miss!
Our prestigiously located Park Lane Head Office is a fantastic bonus for Guild Members, who have access the space in the heart of London to impress vendors, buyers, and investors, differentiate their business and ultimately win new instructions. Senior Account Manager, Rachael Hunter, hosted an insightful session with Daf Spear, our Proud Guild Member for Swansea, to look into the benefits of utilising the Park Lane office for property exhibitions and how to make the most of the event.
Head of Social Media and Content for The Guild, Sophie Davies', Bitesize Sessions are a hit with all our Members, from Facebook novices to TikTok experts! Having already covered topics such as ‘creating a Facebook business account’ and ‘making the most of short-form video’ and ‘how to make your seasonal social post pop’ there are a whole host of topics still planned for 2023. The Guild Marketing and Design teams produce attractive and result-driven campaigns throughout the year for our Guild Members to use on in their social media and print strategies. Marketing Executive, Rob Larkin, presents a series of Bitesize Sessions on how to ensure you are using these materials to your advantage. With each design including our ‘Chosen by The Guild’ logo, not only do our Members get to celebrate an occasion or mark a seasonal event with these designs, they also promote their exclusive Membership to their customer-base. Our marketing campaigns are updated continually throughout the year so there is always a fresh design to chose from for your next printed canvassing card, or social media post.
Our Head of Growth, Daniel Harrington, held a session earlier this year on The Guild Regional Market Reports. In the invaluable 15-minute training, he covered how and why our Members should utilise them to generate leads and differentiate themselves from the competition. As well as how to build them into their overall business strategy. Our reports are specific per region in the UK, so all our Members are catered for, they can add the link to their email signature, share our pageturners and assets on their social media channels or even record a video of the report using our pre-written scripts.
Every month, The Guild shares the latest stats from our PR team.
